Susanne Mata, based in Jacksonville, Florida, brings over 20 years of grant writing and leadership experience in the non-profit and education sectors. She has worked extensively with non-profits addressing poverty, food insecurity, and health in underserved communities and served populations ranging from infants to older adults – providing her with an extensive background in writing diverse grant proposals to different funders. She also brings expertise in workforce development, career technical education, project management and implementation, evaluation, and post-award compliance. She has successful experience with foundation, state, and federal grants including Department of Education, as well as California state agencies. In her free time, Susanne enjoys playing pickleball with family and friends, traveling, and cheering on the Denver Broncos during football season.
