Deborah Lielasus, based in Chicago, Illinois, has more than 25 years of experience working with nonprofits during which she has held positions as both an Executive Director and Development Director. Deborah has a deep understanding of strategies and methods to help nonprofits achieve their goals. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from California State University in Communication and Design as well as a certificate in Fundraising from Purdue University. Deborah has successful experience with numerous federal agencies including, but not limited to the Department of Health & Human Services and their sub-agencies including SAMHSA, ACF, ACL, CDC, HRSA, OMH; Department of Justice and their sub-agencies including OJP, BJA, OVW; Housing & Urban Development; Department of State; Department of Veteran Affairs; Department of Agriculture; National Endowment for the Arts; and the Environmental Protection Agency. Deborah also has successful experience with several state and city agencies. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching documentaries, occasionally cooking, swimming, exploring nature, and being a plant parent.
