Alicia Kuranda, MFA

Alicia Kuranda, MFA, based in Chicago, Illinois, has 15 years of experience in nonprofit management, grant proposal writing, grants administration, and nonprofit consulting. Alicia has secured millions of dollars in grant funding from federal and state government agencies, private foundations, and corporations. Her grant writing expertise spans various areas, including K-12 education, homelessness, arts & culture, mental health, substance abuse therapy/prevention, community development, juvenile justice, violence prevention, veteran’s issues, foster care, and child welfare. Examples of Alicia’s successful grants include National Endowment for the Arts, HRSA, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Institutes of Health, SAMHSA, and Department of Education. In her down time, Alicia enjoys cooking, gardening and running/cycling.
