Education: Dr. Perotte earned her Doctorate in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from the Department of Population and Family Health Sciences with a concentration on health communication. She received her Masters in Public Health from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science from the College of William and Mary.

Experience: Dr. Perotte has over 15 years experience conducting applied public health research with expertise in qualitative research methods, program development, implementation, evaluation and replication. She has over 10 years experience writing foundation, corporate and state grants, and has successfully secured multi-year federal grants. Her focus areas include quality assurance, needs assessments, in-depth interviews, focus group research, marketing research, survey development, qualitative date analysis, evaluation methodology, and program implementation. She also has extensive expertise in curriculum development, train the trainer models, and participant recruitment and stakeholder development. Dr. Perotte has contributed to projects focused on HIV/AIDS prevention, pregnancy prevention, dropout prevention, adolescent development, intimate partner violence, and communication.
