Grant Services Consultant
Education: Martha LeBlanc received her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Louisiana State University.
Experience: Martha serves as a Grant Services Consultant for Innovative Funding Partners. She brings nine years of professional grant experience including strategic planning, funding research and proposal development, program and grant implementation, award compliance monitoring and funder policies and relations.
Prior to joining Innovative Funding Partners, Martha worked with the administration of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center to establish a grants office to support hospital goals and services. She managed the newly created grants department within the OLOL Division of Academic Affairs, developing relationships and product lines within OLOL divisions including Children’s Hospital, OLOL College, telemedicine, cardiovascular health, critical care, palliative care and more. Martha provided education and training in grant funding, proposal development, award responsibilities, implementation and reporting. She supervised and participated in grant proposals with an emphasis on budgets and budget justifications.
Martha developed her skills serving clients in the areas of healthcare, education, public safety and the arts. She has participated in and supervised successful applications to such federal agencies as:
- Health Resources and Services Administration
- Administration for Children and Families
- US Department of Agriculture
- Department of Justice
- Department of Homeland Security
- Centers for Disease Control.
She has achieved funding for clients from private sources, as well, including Susan G. Komen, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Baton Rouge Area Foundation, and Pennington Foundation.
